The Lato Sensu Post-Graduation Course of Ethics in Artificial Intelligence (CEEIA) is aimed at graduate professionals who seek training or requalification to work in consulting, business audit, advice and/or offer educational services in Ethics in Artificial Intelligence.

The target audience includes graduates of Philosophy courses, AI and IT professionals, law, health, urban planning, responsible governance, education and academics interested in the ethical, legal, environmental and social impacts of disruptive technologies. It is also suitable for defense technology professionals, military personnel, human rights activists, social and data scientists, as well as entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts.50% of the vacancies are intended for public officials.

The course is funded by CAPES and lasts for 15 months. The total workload is 585 hours, in addition to the Term Paper, whose research should be dedicated to topics of the following lines of research of the Course:

• Minds, Language and Machines;
• Democracy, justice and algorithmic governance;
• Epistemic Normativity and Digital Ecosystems;
• Ethics and Ontology of Artifacts;
• Ethical, legal, environmental and social impacts of Artificial Intelligence
