“Physical properties of sp2 nanocarbons”
RESUMO: The sp2 based nanocarbon materials are prototypes for nanoscience and nanotechnology. In this talk we discuss some emerging physical properties of different carbon nanomaterials such as graphene, carbon nanotubes and carbon nanowiggles. Emphasis will be given to electronic and optical properties, which can be tuned from semiconducting to metals by playing with different structural parameters such as chirality, edges, and stacking of graphene layers.
