RESUMO:In this talk we introduce the problem pointed out by Gribov at the end of 70's concerning the presence of gauge copies even after the Faddeev-Popov procedure was implemented. We show how the presence of this extra copies can be linked to a criteria to deal with the confinement problem of the gluons. At last some examples of the Gribov problem in more general non-Abelian gauge theories will be treated.
