Hiring will be carried out for a specified period of up to 1 (one) year for Brazilian visiting professors or up to 2 (two) years for foreign visiting professors, with the possibility of extension for an additional year for Brazilian visitors or another two years for foreign visitors.
The position aims to hire candidates with proven experience in the fields of Urban Engineering, Structural Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Materials Science who align with the research areas of PPGECAM. The vacancy is available in the Junior Visitor category, with a workload of 40 hours and Exclusive Dedication, with a monthly salary of $18,085.19 Brazilian Reais. Additionally, there is a monthly meal allowance of R$658.00 reais.

In the absence of registered, approved, or eligible candidates for the positions designated for persons of color, these positions will be filled by other approved candidates by the general ranking order of the area.
The selection process will occur between October 16th and November 10th, 2023.
The process will involve a Curriculum Examination (60%) and an Individual Working Plan (40%) evaluation. The final score of the candidates will be calculated as a weighted average obtained by adding the scores of each stage, divided by the sum of the weights of each score.
The approved candidate, ranked within the number of available positions, may, at the discretion of the Public Administration, be hired at any time within the validity period of this selection and according to the terms of this notice.
