“Energy spectrum for a generalized screened Coulomb potential”
RESUMO: We solve the radial Schrödinger equation for a generalized screened Coulomb potential from which we can obtain, as particular cases, the potentials of Hulthén, Yukawa and cosine, taking into account the centrifugal term, using the general procedure established by [F. J. S. Ferreira and F. V. Prudente, Phys. Lett. A 377, 3027 (2013)]. We obtain the energy spectra for the potentials under consideration which shows up an excellent agreement with the available literature results. Furthermore, we obtain the energy bound states for values above of the critical screening parameter, surpassing difficulties that appear when others methods are used.
