A Coordenação de Letras-Português, mais do que ser uma mera instância burocrática, tem por objetivo promover o desenvolvimento pedagógico do curso, colocando-o entre os melhores do Brasil.

Nosso curso é atendido principalmente pelo DLCV - Departamento de Letras Clássicas e Vernáculas e pelo DLPL - Departamento de Língua Portuguesa e Linguística.

A gestão 2023-2024 tem como Coordenador o Prof. Dr. Cirineu Cecote Stein (DLPL).
