He has experience with pest management strategies based on sustainability principles; insect bioecology and modeling the risk of arthropod resistance evolution to control tactics. He has worked with several collaborators on the application and optimization of new generation imaging and spraying (drone) technologies, as well as quantitative (analytical) and computational methods in entomology. He is currently an adjunct professor at UFPB - Areia campus.

Bachelor's degree in Agronomic Engineering (UFPB). Master's and Doctorate in Entomology (ESALQ/USP) - receiving an honorable mention from the CAPES Thesis Award 2020 and an honorable mention from the USP Thesis Award 2020. During his doctorate, he was a visiting student at Mississippi State University, USA. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the biostatistics sector at UNESP | IBB, and a Visiting Researcher (Postdoctoral) in the Department of Entomology at the University of Arizona (USA).
