The PPGDH is the result of a long accumulation of previous experiences in teaching, research and university extension in
human rights carried out in the UFPB in the last 25 years. It is structured according to two inseparable pillars: the
interdisciplinary character of the formation and the articulation between teaching, research and extension. It brings
together teachers who share the same vision of the theoretical and practical relevance of human rights, respecting the
plurality of opinions, allowing and fostering free and critical debate among its members.
