RESUMO: The present study consists of an investigation on Hellenism in the light of what the skeptical Empirical Sixth (17th century) wrote. II d.C.). From the reading of the Pyrrhic Hypotypes and Against Mathematicians, book XI, the Sextian interpretation on the so-called hellenistic philosophies dogmatic is analyzed, especially in the context of discussions on the theme of ethics. Moreover, but through this examination, a deepening of the skeptical philosophy itself will be carried out, whose efforts are to better understand the senses of suspension of judgment (epokhé), unperturbability (ataraxia) and appearance (phainnomena) within the pyrronic corpus. In order to make these purposes, it begins with the investigation of the arguments responsible for establishing skeptical aporia in the face of contradictions perceived in the dogmatic pathway of philosophy. After that, it examines Sexto's perception of Hellenic Eudaimonism, a moment when strong objections to ethical science will be revealed, understood as the one responsible for establishing lessons related to living well. Sextian questions will culminate both in the impossibility of considering it an art itself and in the neutralization of dogmatic ethical conceptions. It is, of course, a hermeneutic of the Sextian text in order to explore ethical discussions.
