Colóquio: GRAVITOELECTROMAGNETISM FROM WEYL INTEGRABLE GEOMETRY: A NEW APPROACH (Prof. Dr. José Edgar Madriz Aguilar - Universidade de Guadalajara, México)

RESUMO:In this talk we discuss a new formulation of gravitoelectromagnetism based on scalar-tensor theories of gravity formulated on Weyl-Integrable geometrical background. We explore two frames: the Weyl frame and the Riemann frame. The electromagnetic field is introduced as a gauge vector field in the covariant derivative when Weyl invariance of the action is required.
